Melanie Sheehan received her BS degree in Community Health Education in 1999 from Western CT State University. Shortly after graduating, she became certified as a Community Health Education Specialist, CHES. In 2002, Melanie also became a Tobacco Treatment Specialist, TTS. She has been the tobacco program coordinator at Mt. Ascutney Hospital since 2000. Melanie is involved in the statewide tobacco program as the database "guru" – helping to make data collection a more user-friendly experience.
